InvoicePlane is an open source self-hosted modern invoice/billing software. InvoicePlane has some important features. you can send an invoices, quotations to clients. Also, manage your clients and payment details.
InvoicePlane developed for the web but its supported for mobile. You can easily send quotation and invoices through email. This light-weight web software categorized by clients, quotes, invoices, products, payments and reports.
You can add and view details in each category. This InvoicePlane web application is very useful for personal, small and medium business.
This Helphin will you guide how to install InvoicePlane on cPanel Linux hosting server. This is very simple to install your Own webserver.
Step 1: First go to InvoicePlane official page and click download tab. Now you can see Download button. Click the Download button to download your copy.

Step 2: Now go to your download directory and extract the InvoicePlane zip file.
Step 3: Now log in your Godaddy accounts.
Step 4: Now click Manage button in the web hosting tab.
Step 5: Click Manage button
Step 6: In this cPanel dashboard you can find Database section. Click MySQL Databases link.
Step 7: First we create Database for InvoicePlane. Name your database and click Create Database button.
Note: We put our database name as invoiceplaneedb.
(Note: You must create with your own Database name. Do not use this name. This is for Example)
Point 1: Now create MySQL username and password. So choose your username and password for MySQL and press Create user button.
Point 2: Finally We set full administrative privileges to the MySQL user. So choose your database username and database name and click Add button.
Step 9: Now click ALL PRIVILEGES check box option and click Make Changes button.
Step 10: Now open your Filezilla FTP software and Login your hosting accounts to connection your web server.
Now select your extracted InvoicePlane files. Drag your files into Public_html directory.
Wait for a complete transfer.
Step 11: Once your file successfully updated then you can navigate your URL in your browser.
Type your domain name in a web browser.
Now you can see Setup page. Here choose language and click Continue button.
Step 12: This page is shown software check the server requirements. Press continue button to go next page.
Step 13: Here you can put your database details.
Put your hostname as localhost and enter your MySQL Database username and password. After last text field, you can enter your MySQL database name.
Press Continue button.
Step 14: If your Database name, username, and password are correct then you can see the Database is successfully configured message. Now you click Continue button.
Step 15: In this page shown database tables were successfully installed message. Now click Continue button.
Step 16: Database tables were successfully upgraded. Click Continue button.
Step 17: Now you create admin/username account. First enter your email address, company name, and password.
scroll down you can see address filed. Here enter your home or company address, city name, state name, zip code, and country.
Again scroll down, you can company contact details. Here you can enter your phone number, fax number, mobile number, and your company official web URL.
Once you finished above details correctly, click Continue button.
Step 18: Now you can successfully installed your InvoicePlane application of your web server. Click Login button.
Note: Now you must secure your InvoicePlane site. Because everyone(maybe strangers) can try to install again and again InvoicePlane without your knowledge. But the good news is no can installed without MySQL database name, username and password.
So add Redirect /setup http://yourdomain.com/ line in your .htaccess file and upload your web directory.
Step 19: Enter your mail id and password and click Login button.
This is your InvoicePlane dashboard. Here you can see your quotation and invoice overview.
Step 20: Here I am installed InvoicePlane on subdirectory.
Step 21: Download .htaccess file from InvoicePlane in the subdirectory.
Step 22: Open .htaccess file in any text editor.
Step 23: Add RewriteBase /subdirectory name line.
Here I am installed InvoicePlane on demo/invoice directory. So I can add the below line.
Step 24: Now you can navigate your domain name with the directory name.
Now continue the setup to install InvoicePlane on your web domain.
Step 25: Login your mail id with a password to access your InvoicePlane web application.
